Annual Poster Event

The Urban Climate Research Center (UCRC) hosts an annual poster event that allows undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars working on urban climate topics to present their research to the UCRC community.

This event provides the participants with valuable experience and also helps to facilitate cross-campus interaction and collaborations.

Attention Urban Climate and Urban Environment Researchers!
The Urban Climate Research Center (UCRC) invites abstracts showcasing urban environmental research at ASU. Posters may address the social and physical dimensions of urban environments, including their interactions with society and infrastructure. Awards, in the manner of gift cards and depending on the number of entries, will be given in the below categories.

  • Undergraduate students
  • Graduate students (Masters & PhD)
  • Postdoctoral researchers
  • Students & postdocs from partner institutions working on joint projects with ASU researchers.

    1st/2nd/3rd Place - $200/$100/$50
  • Undergraduate Students:

2025

On Feb. 3, 2025, the 8th annual poster event included a total of 31 posters.

2023

The 6th annual poster event occurred on April 20, 2023. 

2021

On November 17, 2021, our fourth poster event included a total of 20 posters and was held in-person again.

2020

On October 15, 2020, third event included a total of 20 posters and was hosted entirely online.

2019

On March 27, 2019, our second poster event included a total of 25 posters.

2018

On April 3rd, 2018, our first poster event included a total of 22 posters, including 2 virtual posters from colleagues at GA Tech and USC.
