Annual Poster Event
The Urban Climate Research Center (UCRC) hosts an annual poster event that allows undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars working on urban climate topics to present their research to the UCRC community.
This event provides the participants with valuable experience and also helps to facilitate cross-campus interaction and collaborations.
The 2026 Urban Climate Research Center Poster Event at Arizona State University welcomed a record-breaking 40 posters, showcasing cutting-edge research from undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral scholars advancing urban climate science and extreme heat resilience on March 26, 2026 at ASU's Memorial Union.
Thank you to everyone who presented and attended this signature UCRC event. The future of urban climate research is bright!

On March 26, 2026, the 9th annual poster event included a total of 40 posters.

On Feb. 3, 2025, the 8th annual poster event included a total of 31 posters.

The 6th annual poster event occurred on April 20, 2023.
2021
On November 17, 2021, our fourth poster event included a total of 20 posters and was held in-person again.
2020
On October 15, 2020, third event included a total of 20 posters and was hosted entirely online.
2019
On March 27, 2019, our second poster event included a total of 25 posters.
2018
On April 3rd, 2018, our first poster event included a total of 22 posters, including 2 virtual posters from colleagues at GA Tech and USC.
